Cars are macho and in the hands of owners flaunting fat wallets they’re transformed into motor vehicles that are different. Oddity or originality, call it what you will, but the humdrum four-wheeler motor car as we ordinary folks know it is infused with healthy doses of pop culture that dramatically change its looks and style. Bizarre is better, pop is proper and it’s all a statement of attitude ? the kind, though, that Papa didn’t preach! A specific statement of haute style, distressing and annoying to many, is the fitting of train horns on these cars.

If you see a sign at the gas pumps that says “Gasolines May Contain Bio-Based Oxygenators (Ethanol).” then you are getting E10 ethanol gas. Lately they have changed to say “By New Federal Law all Gas Blends contain up to 10% Ethanol.” If you have rebuilt the fuel system in your classic Chevy Camaro recently then you should have had few if any problems running it on E10 ethanol gas. If you have not rebuilt the fuel system on your classic Chevy Camaro then you may want to look into rebuilding it before running a lot of E10 ethanol gas. The use of E85 ethanol gas in your classic Chevy Camaro is not suggested at all unless it has been properly changed to run on flexible-fuels.
